What may require correction

A correction may be required where a material statement is factually wrong, a primary source has changed, a link points to the wrong destination, or wording creates a materially misleading impression.

  • Route, airport or airline facts
  • Entry, transit or document guidance
  • Baggage and fare explanations
  • Provider responsibility or affiliate disclosure
  • Broken or misdirected internal and external links
02

How to submit a correction

Use the contact page and include the exact URL, the statement concerned, why it appears wrong and a reliable current source. Do not send confidential booking or identity documents.

03

Assessment

We compare the report with primary or authoritative evidence, consider whether the issue affects a traveller’s decision and distinguish factual error from opinion or a later change in circumstances.

04

Correction outcome

A confirmed material error is corrected as soon as reasonably practicable. The page review date may be updated. Minor spelling or formatting corrections may be made without a formal notice where meaning is unchanged.

05

No silent alteration of commercial history

We do not rewrite a dated example to imply that it was a live offer at another time. Dynamic prices and schedules remain subject to the provider’s current results.

06

Disagreements

A request does not automatically establish an error. FlightsMzansi may retain accurate information supported by reliable evidence and may request clarification where a report is incomplete.

Traveller answers

Corrections policy: frequently asked questions

Open a question for a clear, practical answer. Where prices, schedules or rules can change, verify the answer with the responsible source.

How quickly are corrections made?

Priority depends on traveller risk, materiality and the evidence required. Confirmed high-impact errors are prioritised.

Will every edit receive a public notice?

No. Material factual changes may update the review date; spelling and formatting edits generally do not require a notice.

Can I request removal of an accurate statement?

You may request review, but accurate lawful information is not automatically removed merely because it is unwelcome.

What evidence should I provide?

Prefer the responsible government, airport, airline, regulator or provider source.

Do these policies remove my statutory rights?

No. Nothing on FlightsMzansi excludes a right or remedy that South African law does not permit to be excluded.

Who controls a booking made after using a search tool?

The provider identified during checkout controls payment, confirmation, changes, cancellations, refunds and booking support under its own terms.

Where can I ask a policy question?

Use the FlightsMzansi contact page and identify the policy and clause concerned.

Can these policies change?

Yes. Material changes may be made when the website, providers, law or operating practices change. The effective or reviewed date will be updated where appropriate.
